Workflow

The Workflow infrastructure allows users to compose, publish and enact distributed scientific and business processes including dynamic enactment using semantic brokering and workflow mining technologies. SIMDAT provides a variety of generic and domain specific workflow tools that have been adapted to include a Grid interoperability layer allowing individual businesses to select a workflow technology of choice. Workflow technologies provided by SIMDAT include InforSense KDE® and InforSense® Workflow Repository, OPTIMUS™ (Noesis) and Taverna/Freefluo from IT Innovation. Other workflow technologies used by industrial partners have also been integrated with the Grid interoperability layer.
